Custom Investigative Areas per Case
You can customize which investigative areas are applicable to each case. The best way to do this, especially on an automated basis, is to set the applicable investigative areas per Position, then apply the position as desired. For example, you may have a position called Administrative Assistant and you don't need to investigate areas such as Financial or Sexual Conduct. Create a position with this title and turn off these investigative areas as shown below.
Once the position is defined, all cases to which this position is assigned from this point forward are assigned these investigative areas. It is important to understand that these attributes are copied from the assigned position and set in the case. So you can set these values in each case independently if you desire but if you select a different position, the values from that position will be inherited by the case. We recommend establishing your positions with the investigative areas desired and applying them.
If you don't assign positions to your cases, no worries, each new case will have all investigative areas by default.
