Changing the Case Position

Changing the Case Position

Changing the case position has a significant impact on the case and doing so requires consideration. The chosen position drives which PHS version is used as well as the applied supplemental forms for the case. When a new position is selected, the Supplemental Forms will be purged and replaced with those for the newly selected position. Therefore, the Position selection control is disable once the case stage is higher than Stage 1 - Case Opened. While you can set the case stage to Stage 1 and assign a new position, we recommend against doing so and that you contact support@pobits.com to help you resolve any issue leading you to this decision. The bottom line is that if you just created the case (Stage 1) and want to change the assigned position, you might as well deleted the case and create a new one, which can can do by opening the Candidate and from the Cases tab, create a new case with the desired position, then delete the previous case.

NOTE: Remember that when a candidate has more than one case, all but one must be closed.
