Document Attachments

Document Attachments

The investigator can add documents to the case in PDF format, each limited to 5 MB in size. If your PDF exceeds the size limit, there are ways to shrink the file including online tools dedicated to this function. Adding the file is a straight-forward process of uploading any file from your computer to the document attachment form. When adding, the form has an attribute for Applicability from which you can select or enter your own value. The primary reason for this field is to sort out the documents when preparing a California compliant PHS report in which certain attached documents are included in certain tabs of the report. If you have no need for this function you can leave it blank. In the standard background investigation report, all attached documents are included near the end of the report.
