Reviews

Before you can set up a review, you must add Review Steps in the Organization Setup screen. This function is only available to users in the role of Manager.

For each case, you can add any number of reviews. A review is a single event wherein the investigator assigns the review to another system user. In doing so, the investigator sets the Review Step. Review Steps are set up globally for your organization by a System Manager. Each Review Step has a number and a purpose, such as:

1 First Review
2 Second Review

When creating steps, you should apply the appropriate number for whatever sequence of reviews your organization performs. POBITS does not automate the review process. The investigator manually enters each review. In doing so, review steps can be adhered to or not.

The review pane for each case is on a tab within the case window. However, there is also a button at the top of the application window labeled Reviews. This navigates the user to a pane that displays all open reviews in your account.

When a review is created, the investigator assigned as the reviewer receives an alert on their home screen. Also, when any Review item is created for a case, the case stage is automatically set to In Review.

Review Type: Choose between assigning the review to a specific investigator or adding it to the review queue. When added to the review queue it is visible to all reviewers.
