There is a lot to say about reports, but the key thing to know is that the report designer in the development platform is somewhat arcane. There are known bugs, which we avoid, and known limitations, the most significant of which is that it will not process HTML content, which is why we cannot provide rich text (bold, underline, bullets, etc.) anywhere in the system. This is changing soon as the platform developer is currently working on an all-new report designer with this functionality as a primary emphasis. We intend to implement rich text throughout the system as soon as this platform update is released.
